St. Gregory of Sinai Monastery produces icons commissioned by churches and individuals in the ancient medium of egg tempera, as well as other media, including wood, cast-metal, mosaic, and textile. The Workshop’s wall murals are done in true fresco technique, painted directly onto freshly applied plaster. Images of their work may be seen on the Monastery’s web site. Greeting cards featuring the monastery's icons and other artwork are distributed by St. Vladimir's Seminary Press (800-204-2665). The Monastery also works a seven-acre olive orchard. The Saint Paul's Fellowship of Labor is a program for young adults that offers help to Orthodox monastic communities, missions, and churches by providing a source of physical labor for a variety of building, renovation, repair, and maintenance projects. The program includes opportunities for travel, fellowship, and immersion in Orthodox Christianity.
